Kathy,

Thank you for the contribution. I can honestly say that, to me, none of these characters are as interesting as the characters I picked. There are many actual women that I find very interesting and that I would put on a top 10 list (maybe I'll do that), but I simply do not identify with any of these characters. Maybe there's something about being male and being unable to identify with fictionalized accounts of women... I don't know.

At any rate... what I'm trying to say is that I don't hate women... but all of these characters bore the hell out of me.

I happen to love most of them. Some I just thought I had to put because of their contributions to literature and/or pop culture.

I do think it is semi difficult to combine genres like literature and film, but what the heck. It's just a blog.
